Since receiving his van through Chive Charities last year, Jayden and his family have experienced greater ease in their daily lives. In July, Jayden underwent hip surgery and is recovering well. His mom, Chan, shared, “The van has been so helpful for us. It’s definitely been much easier to transport him.”

Recently, the family experienced a frightening situation when their home’s AC unit nearly caused a fire, leaving them without air conditioning for about two weeks as they work to find a replacement. We know how overwhelming unexpected challenges can be, and we’re thinking of Jayden and his family as they navigate this difficult time. We’re so glad the van has made getting Jayden where he needs to go a little easier, and we’re sending the entire family our heartfelt wishes for a smooth recovery and some much-needed relief in the weeks ahead.
